MODERN BABY GIRL NURSERY DÉCOR IDEAS WITH FLORAL WALLPAPER

I ordered everything for our baby girl’s nursery a full 5 months before she was supposed to arrive.

But as her due date charged ever closer, it was looking less and less like we’d have a complete nursery — or even a bassinet for her to sleep in — when she came home from the hospital!

I knew in the sane and sensible part of my brain, that even if the nursery furniture didn't arrive in time, it would be ok.

I could use a random chair to nurse in, and she could sleep in the pack and play.

But the very pregnant, hormonal side of my brain NEEDED all the pieces to arrive on time.

Nesting is real, y’all!

So that’s why I’m extra excited to finally be able to share a little sneak peek nursery tour of our baby girl’s room.

After two baby boys, I couldn’t wait to create a very girly room!

The design was inspired by the nursery Shea of Studio McGee designed for her daughter.

That slightly unhinged pregnant side of my brain was very relieved when the chair and bassinet finally arrived just 3 days before my baby was born!

Our girl’s dresser, crib, and this fun floral wallpaper arrived long after she did, but she slept in our room for several months anyway, so (now I can clearly see that) it all worked out ok.

Inside The Short Years Baby Book, you’ll have the chance to write a description of your baby’s nursery and upload a picture of where they sleep.

Hop on over to The Short Years App and capture your baby’s nursery (or their latest milestone) now

Whether your little one has a nursery of their own, a converted walk-in closet, or a corner of a room they share with you or a sibling, you’ll never want to forget that special moment in time when they were so tiny…

And they didn’t yet know how to crawl out of their crib. ;)
